Does anyone know what percent of students last year got accepted eventually after being waitlisted? I graduate Mid-May and it would be really sad to not know where I'm going.. :(
But UCI is my #1.

yes it is very worth the wait if it’s your top choice

There was no waitlist last year so no one knows how this is going to go.

Yes there was a wait listlast year for UCI, alot of people got their decisions at like May 10th.

You might want to check out this article from the OC Register that was published about a month ago regarding the wait lists in the UCs. It also has some stats about the people who got accepted and was on the UCI wait list last year.

IMO, waitlist is definitely worth it.

Thanks! I’ll be waiting. :D

The school was eventually able to make admission offers to all 333 students who accepted a spot on the waitlist, and 189 of those students enrolled in the fall, Yunek said.

So all the students on the waitlist last year were offered admissions eventually? Hmm.

Oh, thank god. I was rejected, so if all the waitlisters are getting in…this gives me a little more hope for my appeal.
