Doesn’t entrepreneurship have more to do w the student rather than w the school?
@GMTplus7 Ya it mostly has to do with the student, but I’m just curious if the culture of the school encourages entrepreneurship (which I value a lot)
When I said it has become a culture, I mean the number of students and faculty getting interested in it has increased significantly, the suppprt of the deans and the administration has gotten stronger. Today, you’ll see the alumni are coming in to the campus to participate in every activity related to it, providing mentorship, guidance and funding to those projects they find interesting, and so the whole community is getting more excited about it, and is constantly monitoring the progress of those members of the community whose venture has become successful. Berkeley would want to beat Stanford in this area in the next couple of yours, and given the pool of talent Berkeley has, and the high level of support coming from the administration and alumni, I think they can do it.
