No need to apologize, what you said was very informative and I’m glad you’ve adjusted well to life at Berkeley.

I’ll be moving in at UCLA on September 27th, a Saturday. I know who my roommates are, but I haven’t met them yet. We’ve sent emails back and forth, though. I hope I get along with them well.

I wouldn’t imagine that Berkeley students are anti-social, but there’s definitely students like that at that school and at every university, especially ones with so many overachievers, like UCLA and Berkeley.

Wheeler is where the English dept is. You will be spending a lot of time there…

At least that was the case back in the day… Seminars and such…

It’s a tough adjustment. Many transfers I’ve talked to share the same thing. Also, meeting other transfers hasn’t been exactly easy.

Other than the classes, which is a lot of reading, I’ve been involved in some clubs/organizations lately. Mostly business/marketing related ones. I’ve met a lot of great people so far. I was also just offered a research assistant position at Haas. Really excited on that!

As for living on campus, I’m enjoying it! I like my roommates a lot. My con is the workload makes it really fast to get behind.

Well, best of luck for your fall quarter everyone! Probably won’t be posting on here anymore. Too busy now lol.

I’m glad to hear that you’re doing well at Berkeley, even if the workload is a little tough. It saddens me that you won’t post here much anymore, though. :(
