Is Bio-Medical Engineering hard?

Ive been told BioMedE is the hardest major in college, and people usually have some really bad gpas. I have considered pre-med, but rather not take bme if for a fact its very hard to maintain a medical school worthy GPA.

So is it really as hard as people say it is? Any current BME student want to share their thoughts? Anyone who has knowledge about this plz help me out

Thank You!

It is a competitive major but it would be arguable to be the hardest. For pre-med track, it is not a very good idea as it is harder to get good GPA than non-engineering majors. It is not impossible though as my nephew just graduated in BME last year and is in medical school right now. In addition, it is probably not a good idea to choose BME as a back up either as a master degree is often need for a good job.

@billcsho
