I have very little experience with ap calc ab in high school. I didn't do so well on my ap exam.

How difficult would you rate the calc course to be? Any thoughts on the professor Bou-rabee?

Thanks!

much more difficult than at the AP level. You learn the concepts, proofs, and theorems, not just a formula and examples. It will be tougher. I got a 5 on AB, and was having helping friends with THEIR calc1 hw. You just need to study hard and REALLY understand it. Plus, there are lots of resources here on campus to help you out. Most of the professors are geniuses, but are hard to understand due to the fact that 90% of them have very very thick accents.

are you serious? I thought Calc 1 was easy? I thought Calc 2 was the hard one?

oh wow…really?

I didn’t think Calc 1 would be THAT hard.

Gosh now I’m nervous!

calc 1 is easier than calc 2, yes, but it is still much more difficult than at the AP level.

Don’t stress, work hard, utilize the resources given to you. You will be fine. You are at NYU, you wanted a challenge.
