I'm signed up for Calc BC (along with four other AP's) for my senior year and I'm a little worried. I'm not bad at math, but I'm definitely not a math person. I've taken honors all through the math progression at my school and typically get around 93s or 94s as my grade. Anyway, I'm wondering if I would stuggle a lot in BC because I'm not a math-oriented person.

What was your previous math class?

PreCalc Honors

If you do your work and stay on top of things, you should be fine - at least that’s what my friends who took BC said.

For whatever it’s worth, I took AB, did no work whatsoever, skipped class 53 times, and still came out okay. You’ll be fine.

Alright, that’s comforting. Thanks! :)

Calculus BC isn’t difficult; it just moves at a pace faster than most students would like. Just make sure you do all your work and ask your teacher for help. If you have a bad teacher, come to CC for help. While a good teacher (like the one I had) can make the class (and AP exam) really simple, it’s possible to still do well on the AP exam with a bad teacher. Good luck!
