Is Calculus a Requirement for Direct Admit to Undergraduate Business School at Boston College and Villanova? What about other fairly competitive schools?
I seem to recall one, maybe two schools that require Calculus. Both were top tech/engineering schools (Caltech and ?). A few others recommend it, and advanced coursework is always an advantage in terms of course rigor.
But I’d be surprised (actually more like shocked, stunned…) if an undergrad business school has Calculus as a hard undergraduate admissions requirement.
Is there something on their admissions site that leads you to believe that it is?
Harvey Mudd.
That said, many will recommend. And for the top schools, most applicants will have.
There will be a difference in how the application is viewed though, if the applicant chooses not to take calc vs cannot take because of sequencing.
