I just got accepted as a chem major, was wondering if they have a good chem program, wanting to become a pharmacist.

My ChemE (Chemical engineering) friends tell me that those who don’t cut it in ChemE go to Chem (Chemistry). They do very nice facilities, but I haven’t heard of Sciences at CPP being ranked as “highly” as engineering or architecture.

If you’re already planning on going to grad school then it doesn’t really matter. You’ll basically learn the same thing no matter where you go.

If you’re planning on entering the workforce immediately after your 4 years, then that’s where the importance of a “good” school REALLY comes in.

very true yah i just wanted a chill 4 year to go to and the eventually apply for a good grad school like ucsd or ucsf

Also, I’ve said this in other threads and it totally applies. The chance of you changing your major is strong. The whole point of going to college and taking all those GE classes is to expose you to new things.

Out of curiousity, why do you want to be a pharmacist?

true also i feel you . And well my uncle is a pharmacist and ive seen him go to work he owned a pharmacy locally and idk just been fascinating how everything works plus i love chemm
