Is chemical engineering best for me?

I love science, I love creating things and solving problems, and I love the prospect of engineering.

The only two areas I feel a bit ambivalent about are Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering (I am not a fan of programming). Civil, Aeronautic, mechanical, and environmental are interesting enough, but I am absolutely passionate about applied chemistry.

I'm interested in materials science (specifically, biomaterials), as well as BE/BME (agricultural engineering, genetic engineering, and biomechanics). Clearly, I am very uncertain about what specific field I'd like to go into.

So, if I got an undergraduate in ChemE, maybe with a focus (or MAYBE a minor, I'm not even sure if I'd want to add that) in materials, or a biological engineering, could I span out and transition pretty easily to either Matsci or BE/BME?

If you want to do MTSE or BME, you’ll probably find ChemE to be very underwhelming as it tends to be a lot of physical chemistry with some materials science and biochemistry tacked on in later semesters. ChemE can be very versatile, and you can eventually get to MTSE and, maybe with a bio minor, BME in grad school. But I could see it being very stale and grueling if you don’t already have an interest in it. Check out some ChemE programs and see if any look appealing, if not, I would look into a BME degree with a MTSE minor.
