Is chemical engineering impacted at UCs?

From my understanding, chemical engineering is impacted at Cal (no big surprise), but is chemical engineering impacted at the other UCs, in particular, UCSD, UCLA, UCD, UCSB, and UCI?

Chemical engineering is competitive at Cal, but the admit rate isn’t that bad: 19.3% (compared to some of the other engineering majors).

At Davis, all engineering majors are selective, so you need major prep and better GPA for admission.
Admit rate at Irvine was 43.2% in Fall 2011. Source: http://www.oir.uci.edu/adm/IA21-fall-transfers-select-yield-by-major.pdf

UCLA admit rate was 12.09% (average admitted GPA was 3.87) for Fall 2012.
San Diego admits all transfer applicants who meet the admission requirement established for a given application cycle. Chemical Engineering is not impacted so there is no screening for major prep.

Santa Barbara admits all transfer applicants who meet the admission requirement established for a given application cycle. But engineering majors are screened for major prep, see [UCSB Admissions](http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/SelectionProcess.asp?selectiontype=prospective_transfer) for more information.

Thanks Ms.Sun!

You are very welcome.
