I signed up one with only 5 schools. Son doesn’t want to go.
He said it is a waste of time. Even visiting schools didn’t help much. He said he got more info from the internet or schools websites.
What schools is he considering? Showing interest is important at some colleges. Your son doesn’t seem very interested.

I am the parent. Going to the fair was my suggestion. He said he did the research about the schools. He doesn’t think he can learn much from the fair.
If the colleges consider interest for admissions (which you can tell by Googling for the Common Data Set for the school), then going and signing in with the college and chatting briefly with their rep can help with admissions. If not, and he isn’t interested, don’t push it.
