Is college in California an impossible dream for me?

Basically what I'm asking is if there are any schools in California that offer, or have ever offered, a full ride to international students.

Im getting a near-fullride to Harvey Mudd, so unless the campus just upped and moved to Russia then I /am/ going to Cali.

Where are you from?

(I meant apart from Harvey Mudd and Caltech and other hard-core science schools.)

If you mean need based, sure, it’s possible at several private colleges, just avoid state schools. I see you’re from India. The competition will be brutal, you will need to be truly outstanding in some way.

singapore. occidental, stanford, cmc/pomona/scripps/pitzer, loyola marymount

Thanks hmom5, I’ll try. :)

Wow thanks fiona, I didn’t know Occidental and LMU offered substantial aid.

^ Occidental doesn’t. A couple of years ago this Indian poster ajayc was really into Oxy, but they rejected him and a lot of other internationls because of the aid thing. I remember that for his year (2012) he said that they doled out only one full ride to an international

I just searched their collegeboard profile, I didn’t think the aid was that bad. Dunno, check yourself
