Is "communication" the closest thing to Journalism that Cornell offers?

I took a look at the 4 Communication concentrations, but none of them seem to resemble the typical Journalism major. I guess I'm asking:

did I just miss something? Is Journalism an available major?

if not, did I misinterpret the Communication requirements? Is one of them closer to vanilla Journalism than I had thought?

if I wanted to go to grad school for Journalism, could I major in English during my time at Cornell?

Thanks.

Okay, looks like I found the answers to my first two questions:

Dear On Leave,
Cornell offers a communication major, but not a journalism major per se. The communication major offers courses like Newswriting for Newspapers, Advanced Reporting, Editing, and Writing for Magazines (as well as Electronic Media, Psychology of Television, Small-Group Communication, and a host of other interesting topics), so it may be up your alley. For more information, you can write to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Department of Communication, 336 Kennedy Hall; Ithaca, NY 14853-4203; or phone (607) 255-2111.

The third question still stands, though. Would English probably be my best bet?

Communications is in CALS, English in A&S - to which school are you admitted?

You might consider a topic you'd like to report on - Government, Science, Business and minor or maojor in that
