Is continual dedication to sports necessary?
I'm running track in school right now, but because I'm not that good at sports and my school is totally into sports, it's really killing me right now.

Is sports necessary for college admissions?

I'm a junior right now
and I ran track sophomore spring and junior winter.
but I'm thinking of doing badminton instead for junior and senior spring.
Would it look like that I'm not dedicated if I join the badminton team instead of continuning track?

Do colleges care if I do sports or not if I'm good at something else, like music or science?
My school is #1 in sports in the state and I feel like I have to take advantage of that but I so suck at sports ... What should I do?

Continual dedication is necessary is you want to succeed. I know far too many people who join sports for the admissions boost and are simply terrible because they don't work hard enough.

Sports themselves are not required for admissions. You should do whatever you enjoy. Who cares if your school is #1 in the state or even the nation for sports? If you don't enjoy it you probably won't do well.
