Help? =(. Also I think i spelled craige wrong.

I lived here last year on the 4th floor. I definitely did not request it, but was randomly placed. The dorm is old, but since you don’t really know any other dorms, it is fine. The rooms are small, but have built in furniture and large storage cubbies across the top of one wall. I was worried there wouldn’t be enough room for all my stuff (I am an OOS girl), but it was fine with the bed lofted and storage drawers underneath. I definitely met tons of people and made lots of friends there. My floor was not especially loud and I was able to study there at night, but usually went to the library. You do have to pack for the day since there isn’t time to come back to the dorm between classes - it’s about a 20 min walk to north campus or you can get the bus. I would come back to the room in the afternoon before dinner. There is a bus that runs to Franklin Street that picks up near the dorm (the P2P). You can also get the bus easily to the mall at Southpointe. The hardest part was getting used to the walk from Craige to campus. I had blisters on the bottoms of my feet at the beginning of the year. The good thing was that I definitely didn’t gain any weight. I also liked the walk in good weather. It was a good time to call home. I liked the cafeteria on north campus better than south. There are pictures of a room in Craige on the housing website. The bathrooms are kind of gross, but they are cleaned regularly. Definitely part of the experience. I am glad I’m not living there next year, but am glad I lived there as a 1st year. The friends I made were definitely worth it!! Try not to worry. It will be all good.

lol, I got Craige too, and I looked at the campus map and it’s right next to Hinton James, the farthest location on campus. Oh well, I’m hoping it’s not too bad.

@ cookiebichon Huh interesting, thanks for ur reply

I just looked at the virtual tour of a room and it looks like the place have had parties everyday since 1910… I don’t think I am ready for college.

TheASIANhere—how funny!

It was built in the 60’s I think and it definitely looks like it!! haha. But as I said, it will be fine and you will make your room seem like home to you. There is good storage so everything will fit. The best part is that you will meet tons of people and make great friends. Definitely worth it!

Ok, sounds cool. Guess thats one of the advantages of having a crowded building =D
