<p>If someone were to say that “liberals are pathetic,” or “30 year old liberals are pathetic,” in the same way that “conservatives are pathetic” so easily rolls off your snappy tongue, I would, like most, think them no more nor less than an ignorant and uniformed blowhard; bigot would be, perhaps, too strong a word.</p>
<p>As it is, no one has suggested anything of the sort about liberals, young or old. Thus, there are as of yet no conservative ignorant blowhards in this thread in need of a defense. Sorry, for that.</p>
<p>If there is a particular position that cries out for a defense, it is dumb knuckleheaded bigotry in any of its ugly manifestations: liberal or conservative, here, is of no consequence. </p>
