with 4000 undergrad and a secluded environment, do people at dartmouth ever feel..stifled?

Personally I thought it was the perfect size. The social scene is huge given the size of the school, and there's always way more than enough to do. Quite honestly, with so many social options on campus plus having so much fun with your friends its almost a perfect college experience.

why do you day "almost a perfect" and not just perfect?

Because nothing is perfect! But in my opinion Dartmouth comes the closest to perfection of any school I know (along with maybe Brown but in a different way).

I don't mind the size - it's small enough so that you see familiar faces around you, but big enough that everyone doesn't know everything about everyone else.

Then again, maybe in 3 more years, it will feel that way. Thus far, though, it's been great.

lol good enough answer. ahh the more i look into Dartmouth the more I like it...now all I have to do is visit this weekend, and hopefully I won't get let down. heh
