is december ACT too late for stanford?

is december ACT too late for stanford RD? it says all scores need to reach the school by 1/1.

december is fine as it states on the admissions website:

[Application Deadlines & Fees : Stanford University](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/uga/application/deadlines/index.html)

thanks a lot bigmike!
w00t i actually have a shot it seems XD
do you know if can i send the score after i see what i got?

Why does it matter? Stanford requires that you send every test score. Unless you were planning on only sending SAT scores or something like that.

i have never taken the ACT test before :expressionless: (only sat scores)

Aha! :stuck_out_tongue: I’m doing something similar (waiting on October ACT results for SCEA, already sent all my SAT scores).

In that case, I don’t think it would hurt to wait. Just be sure to send it right away once you receive it if you’re happy with the score. :)

Honestly, though, if it’s comparable to your SAT scores, it’s not really worth the money of sending it. :</p>

my SAT score is mediocre at best :expressionless: 2100 isn’t going to impress anyone… since ACT doesn’t have a vocab section, i’m thinking i could do better at it.

A 2100 is fine! Definitely not mediocre. Is that your superscore or best single-sitting? Don’t second guess yourself. That score is well within the middle 50% regardless, and if your essays, recs, and ECs are good your chances are just as good as most others here on CC.

For me, my ACT and SAT scores were always comparable, and I’m pretty bad at vocab too. :stuck_out_tongue: But you never know!
