Hi everyone, i have a question regarding admission rate vs. time. i am planning on taking the Dec SAT I, so my application will not be completed until then. yet, Harvard says that it will begin reviewing apps on Dec 1 in order of completion. and with their tough admission rate, will my chances dwindle in proportion to time? i have no clue whether or not to take this test, because i have taken the SAT I twice before, with 2150 = highest (m:800, c:690, W:660- i'm bad in English in general).
i'm glad if someone can give me some advices. and if someone applied/ completed their application after dec 1 and got in.
thank you all.

There have been plenty of people who submitted their applications after December 1st and got in. Also, the December SAT is definitely not too late. Harvard even says that scores from the January sitting will be considered in their process.

I took the December SAT, actually. If you are absolutely more partial to submitting before the “preference deadline,” don’t self-report the SAT if you aren’t comfortable with your scores. For that matter, don’t submit your application if you feel it necessitates an additional month of effort. Harvard’s admissions are not on a rolling basis, of course, so there is no need to feel as if a post-December 1 submission may somehow jeopardize your odds of admission.

now i’m sure that it’s not hurting admission chances. thank you.
