Is December too late to take SAT subject tests?

I’m not sure if I should take SAT subject tests in November or December. I would take it on Sunday for religious reasons, by the way. Will my scores get to colleges on time if I take it in December?
Thanks so much!

It depends on when you’re applying to your prospective colleges. What application deadlines are you aiming for, @greenteen17? Can you give us an idea?

I’m planning to apply regular decision

@greenteen17 – If most of your colleges’ RD deadlines fall in January, you should be ok with taking Subject Tests in November or December. It typically takes a few weeks to a month to receive your test scores. Please let us know if you have other questions about this.

Thanks so much for answering me, @HigherEdData . I checked the Williams website and their regular decision deadline is January 1. It also said that the standardized test deadline is December. Does that mean I need to give in my scores by December, or I can take the tests in December?

Deadline of Jan 1 means that you have the items under your control in by that time. Normally grades, recommendations, test scores etc filter in over the next few weeks. Policies vary per college, so check their web sites for better guidance.

@greenteen17 – Looks like @TooOld4School was able to answer your question. Just be sure to follow up with each school after you submit on January 1 to make sure your December test scores are delivered and uploaded to your application.
