Is easier to get into CSE by taking UW Honors ?

I am in-state, running start. I have SAT 2320, GPA 3.9 UW, very good ECs but I was denied DA to CSE. On the other hand, I was admitted to UW Honors. I got in EECS Berkeley/CS UCLA and I got a LL from Columbia.

However, UW is my dream school… I wonder if I join UW Honors, whether this would make easier for me to get to CSE by end of the Freshman year. Does anyone know whether UW Honors helps anything?

@KloudKoder, that’s a good question to ask reps from the CSE Department and Honors Program. Perhaps you would enjoy the additional course offerings and smaller classes. However, I think your SAT 2320 and GPA 3.9 UW (i.e., your high level academic ability and performance standards) are what would make it “easier” for you to get into CSE sooner than later.
