<p>I actually wanted to apply for Computer Engineering but while filing my commonapp, only Electrical Engineering was an option..</p>
<p>How would I switch majors once I get admission?</p>
<p>Do i get to choose between the Computer Engineering core and Electrical engineering core as given here:

<p>EE and CE are subspecialties under the ECE department.</p>
<p>Once you are in the engineering school, there is nothing to stop you from switching between the two.</p>
