Is engineering even worth attempting if you struggle with math?

@MYOS1634 I understand the financial game plan, but some in-state universities, when coupled with TOPS, offer more in merit aid than any other university can, with the exception of a full ride, which I would assume is not really realistic without Calculus (and given my mathematical history, not particularly like with it either). Furthermore, my family is not very likely to receive and sort of need-based aid.
My school is honestly really good about cirricular offerings, almost every subject that has an AP test attached to it is taught at the AP level, and we’re third in the nation for usage of technology (alledgedly). Calculus and it’s availability isn’t really a good indicator of an entire school district. The fact of the matter is that it’s independent study or bust. Schedules are finalized. Henceforth dual enrollment with a community college can no longer be approved by a counselor. I appreciate the ideas, but all other avenues have been thoroughly exhausted. My question has already been answered as well, it seems. I appreciate the responses and advice!
