Is Engineering good for this?

Right now I'm a biochemistry/chemistry major, but I've been looking at job prospects, and they seem stronger for ChemE all around. Basically, regardless of my undergrad major, my eventual goal is to work in R&D in a biotechnology field.

My school does not offer a biomedical engineering major, but their is a biomolecular engineering path for the ChemE major. Is ChemE a good degree for this sort of thing?

Choose electrical engineering.

That’s awful advice. Don’t do EE if you want to do biotech research.

If you want to get into research go with the biomolecular engineering or biochemistry and get at least an MS in it with prospects to get a PhD.
