I’m a new mechanical engineering student who just transferred to Mississippi State. So I took my first thermodynamics test today and I just know I failed it. I feel so dumb. I’ve had pretty bad tests before but this one has completely destroyed me emotionally and physically. I was feeling really bad before the test because I can’t sleep and I can’t eat and I can’t stop cutting. Is engineering still for me? I have 3 more tests to take, so do you think I can turn it around? Sorry about my grammar.
Get yourself to the student counseling center ASAP. Thermo should not be the priority here. Stopping the self harm comes first. Please, please, please get help.
PS. Thermo is notoriously one of the hardest courses for engineers. Don’t bank your self worth on one test. The mean could be terribly low and your “fail” could be a C or better.

Nothing more really needs to be said here that @momofsenior1 hasn’t already said. I am going to close this thread before it gets out of hand.
