Is experimental usually harder?

<p>I found section3 hella hard.. It was something about Queen Elizabeth and some random Earl's daughter.. I had 4 CRs, wrote in Canada, the order was</p>

<p>I really bombed that one.. omitted about 4-5, god.. what do you think?</p>

<p>Maybe it is a bit stranger than non-experimental ques??</p>

<p>You will observe different types of ques in exp if you practice SAT often enough</p>

<p>Aren't the math experimentals typically easier than the other math sections? My order was: </p>

<p>To determine the curves, the College Board needs to know how hard individual questions are. To determine how hard individual questions types are that have never been on tests before, they put them in the experimental section; depending on the percentage of test takers that get questions right, they can determine the difficulty of each question. With this information they can construct a test in which they know how hard, or easy all of its questions are. So the experimental section should be just like any other section.</p>

<p>At times the experimental questions are difficult becuase they are poorly written - they have not been "fixed" yet.</p>
