Apologies if this is a very basic question. DS is applying ED with a due date of Monday 11/15. Do I have to complete the FAFSA by that date as well in order for him to possibly get Merit Aid from that ED school?
The college’s website should clearly show the FAFSA deadline.
Separately, most colleges do not require FAFSA to receive merit aid. Colleges do typically require FAFSA to receive need-based aid. Again, the college website should make that clear.

Agree with @Mwfan1921 . Check the college website. If you want to be considered at all for need based aid…there is a priority deadline for the financial aid forms to be completed. Don’t miss the deadlines.
For merit aid, you need to check to see if the college required completion of the financial aid forms…some do.
