@ucbalumnus I tried this with a couple of schools. Looks like each school is different in the amount of info they request. For one school, they ask parent income but the pick list tops out at 99,999. Isn’t there a huge difference for parents earning $100,000 compared to , for example, $200,000?

A few schools (very few) used to give a bonus for filling out the FAFSA. One was Stetson which gave $1000 per year for filling it out.

Yes, but if the college gives no FA at $99,999, then it is very unlikely to give any FA at $200,000.
