<p>@onlythebest13 The rhyme originated with the opening phrase: “One in Four” – speaking of the possible population of LGBT people at Yale. It spoke possibly straight society’s lack of awareness of actual numbers among them.</p>
<p>I seem to recall published surveys while I was there – I recall something actually approximating 16% or something – not as high as 25%. That’s immaterial though. Again the ditty poked fun at misconceptions of numbers and even self identity. </p>
