Is Geology competitive at UCSB?

I go to community college in Illinois and was wondering how competitive the geology major is at SB. I just applied to Santa Barbara and wanted to know how hard it is to get in. I have a 3.6 and have all my requirements out of the way. Also am I able to submit grades from the spring semester if I am transferring that same fall?

Keep in mind that as an OOS student you get no financial aid. It is hard for most people to justify paying $60K or so a year for a large public, but you may be fortunate enough to have parents for whom that doesn’t matter

@mikemac when did this rule happen…that you dont get financial aid being OOS
