Is getting a B in two AP courses bad?

As context, I am a high school junior in her second semester, final quarter. I am currently taking AP World History and AP Literature & Composition. Throughout the course, I have been involved in musical production this year (beginning of January to the beginning of March), as well as learning to drive (beginning in March), and having a part-time job that I work on weekends (beginning in April). I am currently taking band, choir, and Honors Pre-Calculus on top of these. I am just now realizing how much of a mess up I am making by not trying harder in these courses during the musical season, and that, despite the long nights every weeknight, I should have been trying harder. My APWH grade is looking to land around an 85–87, and my AP Lit grade is going to be somewhere around an 82–84. My unweighted cumulative GPA, including the quarter three grades, is a 92.4, and my weighted GPA, not including the quarter three grades for some reason, is a 93.5.

You are who and what you are in totality. Short of improving if there’s still time, there’s nothing you can do. And it’s not bad. It’s a B. Just make sure you understand the material.

Keep working hard, do theatre and what you love in addition to studying and you will be fine. There’s zillions of schools that will want you.

You all put way too much on yourselves. No one is perfect… now or later.

Good luck.

Thanks so much for your encouragement! And it’s crazy how quickly you picked up on what I’m interested in, I actually want to go to school for music (taking AP Music Theory next year)! I’m actually doing better this quarter than last quarter, as I have an A in APWH now and a B in AP Lit right now! They both finished with Cs last quarter (yikes) and I’m working really hard to get them as high as possible. Currently requesting extra credit. Thanks again for the reply, I really appreciate it!
