Is getting a Cal Grant for a certain school a good sign to maybe admission?

I recently got a Cal Grant A for UCI for a pretty good amount of money. Is this a good sign that I may be admitted? It could be wishful, but at the same time I was thinking I wouldn’t be getting a Cal Grant for UCI if they weren’t thinking about me.

Being eligible for the Cal Grant at any particular school has no correlation with admission.
