Is getting accepted to the College of Undergraduate Studies even a big accomplishment?

I was accepted into UT in the College of Undergrad Studies as an OOS student. I was very excited, but coming onto CC I see many OOS kids who did much better than me in high school and didn’t get accepted, so now I’m thinking maybe getting into Undergrad Studies isn’t even hard. I probably plan on transferring to College of Natural Sciences, but I thought since I’m not sure on what I want to do , I’ll just apply to Undergrad Studies. But now, I’m feeling less accomplished.

My D would jump at the chance to be on campus, being out right rejected is hard. It is an accomplishment to get accepted - enjoy the ride and have fun!

You should be excited! You achieved your goal, and the university felt that you were a good candidate for admission. Don’t worry about the others- their successes or failures shouldn’t affect your happiness with your acceptance. Congrats
