Is getting deferred from wharton an accomplishment

ive been looking through the threads and i noticed that most poeple who applied to wharton were either accepted or rejected, with minimal amounts deferred. i was deferred from wharton and when i first got the news, i thought that most people who werent accepted would be deferred. now that i’m looking through this i realized that there aren’t too many deferred wharton applicants. so my question is: is there a descent chance that i may get an acceptance in april, or should i not count on it?

same boat as you bro, i want to know the answer too

me too.

I'm starting to think that Wharton didn't defer a lot, because a guy from a neighboring private school.. who went to these Penn summer programs, had connections and did research for penn didn't get in. I was surprised because he definitely should have been accepted.. so I guess being deferred isn't quite that bad?

but then again, there are some screwed up Wharton acceptances too..bah

you guys should have just applied to the college, and then SAID youre going to wharton, thats what im doing. im kidding. but i might need to start because IT IS NOT PENN STATE!!!

same here dude. I was deferred from wharton and Nursing which is the Nursing and health care management program. I think we all have a shot if we try hard

did any of you apply to joint programs

I did........

Don't forget, Wharton has only 500 slots for incoming students. If they give away all the spots to early decision applicants, there won't be any left for RD applicants. To ensure that they accept the best/most-deserving students, they probably defer most of the early wharton applicants. Only the truly outstanding/sure bet kids probably get in ED to wharton. Just my 2 cents.
