Is Grinnell need-blind for transfer students?

The title says it all :) thanks!

I don’t know and have no way of knowing. I’m just a parent with a daughter who applied and hopes to be admitted. However, Grinnell is one of the wealthiest small liberal arts colleges in the country. If they want you, they ought to be able to find a way for you to attend. They have no reason not to be generous with financial aid. I am just worried about the increases in tuition. We don’t qualify for financial aid, but paying big tuition $$ is still painful.

My family is in the same boat, we don’t qualify for aid but my parents set a limit to what they’ll pay for. I’m trying to scrape together the rest with savings and loans, before it’s time to commit (if i even get in, that is!). Hopefully Grinnell will work with me and give me an on-campus job  Thanks for the reply!

As I recall, they will give any student an on-campus job. My son was full pay (though he was given a merit scholarship–YAY!) but he was also given paid jobs at campus security and the school newspaper. One of his articles was picked up by the Huffington Post. I doubt these jobs paid much, but it was at least spending money or something for books, also something to put on a resume.
