Is GT above waitlist or below?

<p>Yeah, I received a GT last year from CALS and in the online letter it said “Transfer Option”, but once you receive the transfer packet in the mail it’s much more clear that it’s a Guaranteed. Basically they probably changed it because you have to meet their requirements (which is usually taking 5 or 6 required courses that are dependent on your major, and get a 3.0 overall), and THEN you’re guaranteed to get a transfer, but if you dont meet the requirements you won’t get the transfer. It really is silly how the online letter is worded. I read the words “We’re sorry to inform you” and just stopped there, and didn’t know I’d gotten the transfer till I received my rejection letter in the mail.</p>

<p>Cindy-- thats what happened to me last year too! I completely overlooked it…the way it’s worded, it’s easy to do. I didn’t realize I had gotten the GT until I received the packet.</p>
