Is having one bad semester impact my chances admissions?

As the semester is coming to an end, I’m worried I would either pass calc or orgo. If by any chance I get one C in one of them and get D. Will i be denied? my gpa is 2.80 right now.

Effective speech: Will probably end up with a B or A
Organic Chemistry: She drops the lowest test grade and quiz. I won’t hear back what I got on my last exam until tomorrow. Possibly ending up with a C or D.
Calculus: He’s replacing the third exam with the final grade. Probably C or D

If for any reason I somehow get two D’s will that impact my chances? Penn State and Binghamton need my fall grades. I haven’t heard back from UAlbany, stony Brook and UB. I’m guessing I have to send my fall grades as well.

Ds could very well push you into the rescind region. Do what you have to to get those grades up.

Yes, it could happen with one D. Coming from HS they might put you on academic probation coming in. I don’t know about coming from a college. But it’s purely my speculation. You can call and talk to the transfer people at each school.
