Is 'High School Life' really a Pre-College 'Issue'?

How bad is it for you?

Mines is pretty good. (Subject to change as it is not written in stone)

It’s not necessarily bad, many may have questions on courses to take and such required for college. Might as well have it on a website with a ton of college/university students on it.

yo dawg, i poon in game and I poon in real life
my physics knowledge just causes people strife
I tested out of regular physics and calc BC, just so I could be in the class with the m$#(#@(#*@ string theory.

On my quest to becoming the the most wannabe funny on CC.

High school SUCKS for me, it’s the worst 4 years of my life. Many reasons. I don’t get invited to parties, and other runners like to tease me about it. Our cross country team may have people that follow the rules (no drugs) but they are probably the meanest group of people in my school.

haha! werdddd. it really is for me, though. it sucks.

You don’t want to be depressed and feel worthless going into college.

When HSL IS serious, we try to give a real world (well, sometimes) perspective on things to try to make you feel better. :]

It is an issue that needs to be dealt with immediately :|

Lol cross country runners are all weird at my school.

^same. They’re all weird at my school too.

I heard most people are going to miss high-school sophomore year of college.

i’ll definitely miss high school… i’ve made a ton of great friends and there aren’t many people i don’t get along with- i have a really good grade for the most part.

sorry to hear about everyone’s bad experiences- i hope things get better for you!! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I’m a senior who freshmen make jokes about… yeah…

Of course though the dislike is mutual.

I think high school life is awesome. Just ignore all the bad parts. They don’t matter…yet.

lol @ freshmen

I think High School gives people the opportunity to not care. I mean, most people, if not everyone is going to be legal by the end of freshman year and then, your actions actually count. Even if you try to get into a place where it’s 21+ and almost get caught (pls, don’t ask). I just think that we should all enjoy the ability to say ‘fu… it’! Even if it’s to a freshman or a teacher. (or the disciplinary department :D)

I’m over HS. But I’m a senior, so it’s natural. It wasn’t an issue.

I’m cool with highschool. Yea, I’ve had issues with some people, and not all my days have been perfect but I’ve definitely learned something out of this experience.

potty training is a precollege issue too… WAAAAY pre college

I am definitely ready to graduate high school, but as cheesy as it sounds, I’ve had some of the most AMAZING experiences over the past 4 years, along with some of the worst. I think the good outweighs the bad though.

The one thing I don’t like is the actual learning part of school. Classes never interest me, teachers don’t take enough passion in the subjects to make them worthwhile, and I feel like high school is basically one big race to see how well you can BS and cheat your way to straight A’s. I never once found a subject in high school that I truly enjoyed (even English, my supposedly favorite class… I’m not going to pretend that I like dull books like Wuthering Heights and Great Expectations).

I’m a first year in college. I miss high school.
