Is highschool GPA still important when I try to transfer?

I'm a freshman in one college, unknown but accredited.
My highschool gpa is very low, maybe only 2.5. And my collge gpa is about 3.3.
I don't know whether my highschool gpa will kick me out

will they kick you out? Probably not. Will they look at it? Yeah most likely.

You have to keep this in mind, most transfers have around 40-60 credits. That'll focus less on high school.

I honestly do not know where CCers are obtaining their information from. Many colleges (at least the ones I'm looking to transfer into) do not require a HS transcript if the applicant has accumulated more then 27 credits. Sometimes, that number is as low as 25. Seriously, go to the colleges' websites and the information will be there there.

Good luck :)

Most competitive schools will require, and look at your high school grades. That being said, the more hours you accumulate, the less they will focus on them. Current trend is more important than a past one.
