Two of my friends’ IDOC portal show Harvard in the list of institutions requiring documents. Mine doesn’t.
Does this mean that IDOC notifications are selective? Am I not supposed to submit my parents’ income tax returns now?

If you applied to Harvard, and indicated that you were applying for financial aid, yes, your financial documents will be required. Only possibility is that IDOC’s records have not yet been updated. I’d suggest contacting Harvard ASAP to find out what you should do. You should only be sending a single packet of documents to IDOC - rather than sending some now, and some later - so you want to make sure it’s complete!
