Is Information Systems a Reliable Major?

Hi, so I'm transferring from community college to KU in the fall or spring, and I've selected Information Systems at KU Business School as my intended major. Initially, I thought that like most computer science/technical majors, it was a fast-growing major, but the most recent unemployment data shows that it has an 11% unemployment rate for graduates, which seems a bit high. So would I have a difficult prospect of landing a job based on that major? When I looked at the Occupational Outlook Handbook, it says that most computer/IT administrative management occupations had a faster-than-average growth rate, so I'm not sure why there's a discrepancy.

Anyway, assuming the worst, and I have to switch majors, what would be a replacement major that has decent employment prospects? I'm also thinking of Supply Chain Management. On the Myers-Briggs, I score as INT(J/P), which I'm sure most of the people on this particular sub-forum are, and I'm pretty anxious about the decision-making process of choosing a major and sticking with it.

Well, if you wanted something closer to IS, CS is the way to go and is much better with job prospects due to the increased difficulty and that it isn’t for everyone. Myers-Briggs wise, you have the type. I am exactly your type (even with the J/P alternation / lack of preference) and I love CS / Programming.
