Is International Relation strong?

hmm
hi guyz
Is it International Relation study strong in UChicago?

I'm planning to double major in Economy and International Relation...
What do ya suggest?

I'm not sure that they have a IR major, though I could be wrong. Have you checked the site.

Chicago doesn't have a dedicated undergraduate IR program, but it does have an excellent undergraduate political science program that offers IR as a concentration and/or area of study.

We do have an international studies major. It is interdisciplinary and draws a lot from the political science department, but it is not a subset of political science, nor is it beholden to it. It's getting more popular every year.

Ranked #7 here, only behind HPYS and Columbia and G'town. But it's called international studies @ UChicago. Is it really the same?

Never thought the international studies program was a slouch, but being ranked 7th like that is amazing. Even more reason for me to want to go....

Check out the CIR: http://cir.uchicago.edu/

You can complete a BA in economics and a MA in International Relations in your fourth year at Chicago. Something to think about. And yes, it's generally considered to be a pretty strong field at the school.

U(c) doesn't accept people who say 'guyz' and 'ya'.

Sorry. :
