Is intra-university transfer possible?

I am not totally decided about what I want to study(Phy,Math, etc) and have been admitted into the College of Arts and Science. I want to take some classes for a semester before deciding what to study for the next four years, and Computer Science is also one of the subjects I'm very interested in. Sadly Vandy doesn't have CS in Arts and Science as many other schools do, and I'm in a dilemma about whether I'll get to transfer to College of Engineering later if that's what I feel fits me best. So this is a two part question:

How hard is it to transfer within colleges? If I go to the required classes and maintain my grades, can I change?

How does a award/finaid complicate matters? Is it possible to keep these if I transfer?

Please help!!

Very easy! I did it myself, and as long as your GPA is above some abysmally low number (1.8, I think) you’re good to go with just a brief one paragraph essay on why you want to switch. Financial aid is generally not affected (I am a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholar).

Welcome to Vanderbilt!

Thanks! That surely put any niggling doubts at rest!
