I am a very experienced programmer, and I know all the curriculum in the AP Computer Science class. I am a heritage French speaker, and I know all the stuff taught in AP French. I informally covered all the coursework in AP Physics. I don’t really need to take theses AP classes and I am ready for the test. Since this will save me a lot of time and I can take more AP classes, will I get credit for the class if I just take the test without actually taking it?
Yes. It’s possible.
If the college gives credit for the subject, it makes no difference to them if you took the class or not. However, according to your other thread, you are in college, so taking an AP exam at this point is not an option.
