Is it a big deal if you go over the one-page recommendation for the essays?

<p>Well my Why Penn essay was well over a page, and it was fine.</p>

<p>A couple of lines shouldn’t be a dealbreaker.</p>

<p>A page and a half should be fine, but send in 4 pages and chances are that the adcom will not read the entire thing.</p>

<p>Going over a page is not a big deal. Page and a quarter to a page and a half though and I’d start cutting stuff out.</p>
