Is it a big deal (orientation)

<p>Is it a big deal if I go to orientation as an incoming freshman and sign up for classes on June 8th, versus June 17th? Are all my classes going to be taken by the 17th?</p>

<p>On the other hand, i'm out of state (NY) so I would rather just register online, but are all my classes going to be taken by the time July rolls around?</p>

<p>I didnt go to calso, and did not get to sign up for courses early and got everything I needed. Just come to the uni like, 2 days early, and walk around and get to know the place - make sure the day before, you go and check out where your courses are. </p>

<p>DO NOT be the kid that is fumbling around looking at the crappy school maps.</p>

haha…we did that during the summer ATDP program. The maps are crappy, the buildings have no signs…and the best thing is you ask someone (who looks like a student) and they say ‘it is my first time too’ :)</p>
