is it a good idea for me if i start applying to colleges in october and november

my gpa is a 2.763 right now. i am taking ap computer science, advanced anatomy, ap govt/econ, dual credit, and precalculus this year. my sat score is a 1200. i am taking the act this weekend.

since my gpa is a 2.7 i think i can raise it to a 3.0 by the end of this trimester. i also want to know my act score. if my act score is good enough then illl start applying. if its too low then ill start appling in november so i can get my new sat scores.

i have called the schools i am thinking of applying too and they have told me that i can apply anytime before december.

That should be fine. You might want to have someone proofread your application, you have a some typos above. ;)

Don’t worry I’m in the same situation… sorta, but I recommend starting those applications now. It just gives you the advantage to let the College review your application first before anyone else.

For the college I ended up going to, I hadn’t even heard of it at the time of their EA deadline. I applied in mid-December for their January deadline.

But if you can make your application stronger by waiting, do it. It will only help your chances.
