Is it a good idea to self-study for the French AP exam?

<p>I'm currently in French III honors. I make straight A's and sometimes even 100's. In fact my french teacher told me to skip french III and told me to go directly to French IV; i did. But at the beginning of this school year i felt uncomfortable because i felt i missed out on a lot of vocabulary so i went back to french III.</p>

<p>I really want to take the test so i can qualify to be AP scholar. And i'd like to now, from people who have taken the French AP test, if the test is easy or at least a take-it-after-self-studying kind of test.</p>

<p>I'm not sure if i'm clear, but if you understand what i'm trying to ask please respond!!</p>

<p>People I know did not say it was easy (well the French folks did fine). So I would guess studying is a good thing.</p>
