At the moment, I have to decide between taking AP Bio/ AP Chem or just regular physics. At my school, both courses are extremely rigorous, however, the AP Bio teachers makes the class very rewarding. Looking to go into business, and not the sciences, what would you suggest me? Keep in mind that my school has an extremely limited amount of AP classes to take, and I can only take up to four next year.

You should take at least one physics class in high school, so I’d recommend doing that if you haven’t already.

Alright. What if I take it at a CC over the summer and instead take like AP Bio?

That should be fine IMHO.

You might have made your decision already, but let me add my 2 cents…I took AP Bio this year even though I do not plan on majoring in bio in college. To me, it was far more rewarding than physics. Everybody thinks they know the key to impressing college admissions officers, and a lot of the time, they mention taking physics. If you think bio is more rewarding, TAKE IT. At the end of the day, you shouldn’t be making your entire life revolve around what people think admissions officers want to see. I guarantee they’ll be more impressed by someone being passionate about a course than someone taking a course just to try and impress them.

Adding onto what @Impreston said, I also wouldn’t limit yourself solely on what you’re aspiring to go into as of now. There was a time I wanted to be a lawyer, changed my mind to graphic designer, and now I want to go into biological research. What I mean is, we’re in high school. It’s a time to explore different things. Considering that you aren’t planning to go into Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, I wouldn’t worry so much about which one to take. Take the one that you feel like taking. They’re all rigorous courses, and I don’t think they’ll be seen on drastically different levels by admissions, especially since you’ll be a business major.

AP Bio is awesome. TAKE THAT CLASS.
