Is it bad if you haven't bought your books yet?

Is it bad if you haven't bought your books yet? SHould I just buy them at the UCLA store when I get there?

don't worry. buy them at the UCLA store when you get there. that's what i always do. books should be available, and there will probably be moderately long lines if you go during move-in weekend (but they get longer during week zero LOL). should only take you around half an hour (max 45 minutes) to wait in line to enter, search for books, and wait in line to pay.

How exactly would I pay for my books? I want to use my parents' credit card but how would that work if they're not here..

Unfortunately, I don't think you can use someone else's credit card. Your signature on the receipt has to match the signature on the back of the credit card.

lol often times they dont check the signature on the back.rather they ask u for ur license and see if the name matches.

uh, tell your parents to put money on your BRUINCARD. they can transfer money from the credit card to the bruincard through the bruincard link on URSA. then use the bruincard like a debit card.

yea thats what i did and i bought my books easily
